What music can I have?

I expect to prepare one new request per client per event as part of the standard price. I am happy to arrange any piece of music you want, and like to run an arrangement past clients before the day itself.  More than one new request per event can be arranged by negotiation.

The only restriction for music choices comes for Civil Ceremonies: as part of the laws of the UK, you cannot have any piece of music with a religious purpose, e.g. Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach. There are some pieces which are less clear: any pieces we are unsure about we can check with your registrar. If you are still debating your ceremony music choices, please have a look at my ceremony guide.

Please read below for a selection of my repertoire. Even if your piece is not listed I may already have it: please ask.

I try to accommodate my clients’ music requests as much as possible, and over the years have built up a collection of classical, film and pop favourites, including jazz and blues numbers. As a lever / folk harp specialist, I also have a wealth of Irish and English traditional music to offer.  The harp is a surprisingly versatile instrument, allowing you to play pieces you might not have thought possible.
